ZIG Eyewear

A U.S. distributor of ZIG Eyewear needed a fast, efficient product locator for their website. ZIG Eyewear needed a powerful product locator that map-enabled consumers to quickly identify where they can buy ZIG Eyewear products. After researching multiple options, their website developer chose a product locator developed by OnTerra Systems, because of the powerful functionality and how easy it was to integrate the product locator into their website.

 Regional Transportation District-Denver, Colorado

Denver-area commuters needed reliable, real-time access to RTD’s bus schedules and location information. RTD’s existing website and handheld device applications were simply not effective because internet access at RTD locations was either non-existent or severely limited to what devices could access the information. In addition, bus routes, schedules, and stops were continuously evolving, making it even more challenging to provide this location information across multiple types of devices and platforms. OnTerra Systems worked with a Microsoft Gold-certified partner to provide the location data in a voice query format. Users were enabled to verbally enter route, direction, and cross-street stop information – with expected times of arrival for the next 3 buses at that location. This solution allowed RTD commuters to get the information they needed via voice technology, reduced RTD call center volume, and provided commuters with critical bus travel information 24 hours a day.

Southern Green

Southern Green, an oil recycling company, need to improve their oil pick-up scheduling process and generate more efficient routes for their pickups. Management knew that, if the company were to be able to grow, they had to shift from manual route planning to route planning software. After researching multiple route optimization solutions, Southern Green chose the RouteSavvy route optimization API for its ease of use and affordability. Once the RouteSavvy API as put into operation, Southern Green’s office staff spent far less time planning routes, and the company saw reduced drive time to complete their pickups, reduced miles driven, reduced fuel costs, and also reduced vehicle wear and tear.
